COVID-19 update

Dear Valued Clients,
These are obviously unprecedented times for all of us.
We are trying to continue to operate as normal as possible in these uncertain times to ensure the health and recovery of all our valued clients.
We will continue to meet the needs and treat our clients face to face in our rooms with stringent hygiene measures in place to maximise your health security.
We kindly ask that you wear a mask whilst in the clinic at all times. If you are unwell, waiting on COVID-19 PCR results or have returned a positive PCR or RAT test, that you please phone the clinic and reschedule your appointment.
Due to financial hardship that many are currently facing within our community, some of our practitioners will now Bulk-Bill patients that are issued with a Medicare EPC Plan (those with a chronic medical condition and complex care needs) from their GP for “in clinic” and Telehealth Physiotherapy consultations. Contact reception on 03 9639 2286 for more information.
Students with OSHC insurance, referred by a GP under a Medicare EPC, will be billed the Medicare rebate amount of $56.00 and issued an itemised receipt to claim with their overseas insurer.
*excludes Specialist & Senior Physiotherapists & must present a valid Medicare card.
Telehealth online video consultations are for clients who are unable to attend the clinic in person for whatever reason.
This method will enable you to have a face to face consultation and allow the therapist to both assess you and observe your movements to get an accurate as possible diagnosis of your condition/progress and provide advice on exercises to help with your recovery.
On the day of your appointment you will be emailed a Zoom link that will connect you to your physiotherapist. All other information will be given to you by our friendly reception team at the time of booking. These consultations can be claimed with some private health insurers beginning April 14 2020.
The Australian Physiotherapy Association has issued a list of participating funds (as at 09/04/20). These include:
Medibank, BUPA, NIB, GMHBA, Australian Unity, HCF, St Lukes, Teachers Health, AHM, Police Health, Health Partners, Defence Health, CUA, CBHS, Mildura Health, Pheonix Health. We advise all clients to check with their individual funds to ensure coverage.
Please call our friendly receptionists on (03) 9639 2286 to make an appointment or discuss your options to assist your return to an injury and pain-free state as quickly as possible.
