Aki found her passion for physiotherapy after completing her Bachelor of Science and going on a volunteering trip to Mexico, where she worked alongside physiotherapists in a local hospital. After returning from her trip, she went on to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2019.
Since then, Aki has a developed a passion for collaborating with her patients to achieve their goals and empowering them through manual therapy, movement and exercise. Aki also has a keen interest in post-natal exercise and Women’s health.
Aki is bilingual, speaking both English and Japanese and in her spare time, Aki enjoys playing piano, travelling and cooking Japanese food.
