Aki has just returned from 6 months abroad, travelling Europe and the UK. While she was overseas, she spent some time in the UK working as a physiotherapist.
Aki found her passion for physiotherapy after finishing her Bachelor’s degree and going on a volunteering trip to Mexico, where she worked alongside physiotherapist in a local hospital. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree in 2019. Since then, she has worked in numerous private practices, in Australia, and more recently, in the UK.
As a general musculoskeletal physiotherapist, Aki enjoys working across athletic and non-athletic populations. She has a passion for collaborating with her patients and helping them achieve their goals with a mixture of manual therapy and exercise. Her main areas of interest include neck, shoulder, and back pain.
Aki is bilingual, speaking both English and Japanese. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, and going to gigs.
