Tom Bevan – Shannon

Physiotherapist

Tom completed a bachelor of Exercise Science at LaTrobe University, before completing his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology Sydney.

Tom has also completed a year long internship at Exercise Research Australia, which led him to develop a passion for exercise-based rehab.

Alongside his role at CBSSMC, Tom is the current Head Physiotherapist for the Melbourne Rebels Super Women’s Rugby team and has previously worked at Coburg Lions VFL team, Melbourne University Rugby Club, and Essendon Royals FC. Tom has also works with the Fremantle Dockers AFLW side when they are in Melbourne, as well as junior elite soccer programs for Football Federation Victoria.

Tom has a keen interest in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries and loves to help clients restore confidence in their body. Tom uses a combination of exercise-based rehabilitation and hands on techniques, in conjunction with the latest evidence, to get his patients feeling their best and performing at their peak.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Tom running the hills of Melbourne or in the gym. Tom has recently completed his first half ironman with his sights set on a full ironman in the near future.
