Emma Hall – Psychologist

Emma is a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society, and College of Sport Psychologists. She completed her Masters in Applied Psychology at Victoria University in 2002, before accepting a two year position in the Performance Psychology Department at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. During this time she worked with a wide range of athletes and coaches, and travelled domestically and internationally to present sport psychology seminars and workshops. Her main work was as the psychologist for the AIS Netball squad, AIS Women’s Basketball squad, and the AIS Women’s Gymnastics program. Her role included performance enhancement, crisis intervention, and general counselling. She has also worked in a variety of other areas of psychology including crisis support, and drug and alcohol programs.
Aside from providing individual counselling, Emma consults to WestVic Academy of Sport and several other sporting bodies. She also consults to corporate clients in career transition, sport, fitness, and health areas, including corporate health and high performance, and consults to the Department of Defence.
Emma can provide individual consultations, and group workshops (for athletes and/or parents, coaches, sports administrators, students, and any professional groups).
